The setup: Fire Dad dropping Wild One (ninja) at gym.
The back story: Wild One's mom is not married to Fire Dad. She is remarried elsewhere with another little girl & just had a baby boy (congrats!)
The line: Coach calls out across the beams to Fire Dad standing amongst other meandering gym parents, "I was going to congratulate you on the new baby but then I remembered it wasn't yours."
The poor parents standing behind him must have thought they had entered the Jerry Springer Show.
Honestly, I don't know why I find this so funny but I am still laughing a day later! Family life is so damn complex...
